There were four guys and a lady on stage with drums, guitars and a violin. Their sound immediately struck Bertels and a flashback to the great The Black Heart Procession gig at Paradiso came to Coach as a thunder in clear blue skies. Templo Diez uses that same warm sound, down tempo rhythms, slow singing with a sad and matured voice. The drummer was real good and used several sorts of drumsticks in order to gently hit the hide. Violin influences were also a nice touch, Bertels was very happy to experience this moment in time and space. The girl almost put her bow in the guitar player’s eye and the owl like dude did a great electrical effect with stomp boxes connected to his guitar, the violin girl also used an effect that fitted exactly in the song. Great local band!
